White mushrooms are small in size with short stems and round white caps. While raw, the white mushrooms are mild but when cooked their flavour develops into a more earthy tone. White mushrooms are great sources of antioxidants, potassium, selenium and amino acids.
White mushrooms can be eaten raw or cooked. It’s best when baked, roasted or lightly sauteed and are great additions to any string pasta recipe.
